In the framework of the Nigerian delegation visit to Ukraine organized by the Association “ZED” and the Trade House “Nigeria-Ukraine”, the meeting with the Head of the Rivne Regional Council and the Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration was held.
The purpose of the visit is to expand cooperation in agriculture, including the involvement of Ukrainian companies, specialists, the creation of joint projects for the agro-complexes building on the Lagos State territory.
Lagos State, has a population of 22 million, and only 20% of its own needs are covered by the local food producers.
It is a good possibility for cooperation with the Ukrainian companies of supplying food and industrial group of goods, equipment, technologies of food processing, training, agro-consulting, etc.
Local business expressed the interest to the Nigerian delegation and after the meeting B2B negotiations were held.
The parties agreed to summarize and systematize proposals on both sides for the organization of further economic cooperation and expressed intentions to sign the relevant agreements at the regional level.
