Within the framework of the agreement between the Association of Exporters and Importers “ZED” (Association ZED) and the Association of International Carriers of Ukraine (AsMAP), a meeting of both associations’ representatives has been held on July 9 this year.
AsMAP was represented by the Chairman of the Board, President of the Association Leonid Kostiuchenko, Vice President Yuriy Kuchynsky and heads of departments, from the Association "ZED" - Chairman of the Board Sergii Svistil, Director Oksana Lykova and Deputy Director Yana Popova.
The main issues that were discussed - how to bring together exporters and carriers and pay their attention to the benefits of using Carnet TIR and the internal guarantee of iCarnet in international transportation.
The modern products using of TIR Convention significantly increases the efficiency of the Ukrainian economic activity for Ukrainian business and saves time for customs procedures at the border.
It was also discussed the question about the joint projects promotion of exporters and carriers, in particular, solving the problem of permits’ shortage for the international transportation to EU countries.
