During the meeting, the issues of functioning of the institute of authorized exporters were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to companies that have this status and are associated with European counterparties in the framework of production cooperation. I would like to see additional trade facilitation attention for this category of enterprises.
Unfortunately, in relation to the EU, Ukraine supplies more goods with less added value - more raw materials. But even in this case, there are difficulties that need to be addressed in close cooperation between government agencies and business associations, including their associations - such as the Coordinating Council for Production and Logistics.
They discussed important issues of export activities of industrial enterprises and the solution of problematic issues in the field of industrial and trade logistics.
Sergii Svystil informed about the creation of the Coordination Council on industrial and logistics issues at the initiative of the ZED Association, UBTA and AsMAP of Ukraine in order to solve industrial, transport and logistics problems faced by Ukrainian business. Up today, USPP, Ukrlegprom Association and the High-Speed Lines Association were joined to the Council.
At the meeting with Mr. Urusky, they discussed issues of cooperation with the Council for assistance in solving the problem of providing permits for international transportation to Ukrainian road carriers from some EU countries, in particular, Poland. The country has significantly reduced the number of permits for Ukrainian carriers, protecting its own market for transportation services.
So why don't we take care of our own market for such services?
Up-to-date, analytical work has been carried out and a joint action plan of leading associations on this issue has been developed.
We are grateful for the attention of Mr. Minister and for the readiness to support the efforts of the Council to overcome this problem.
If you are interested in resolving this issue, we invite you to join the Coordination Council on industrial and logistics issues.
