The book is the official Ukrainian translation of the ICC publication no. 720 ICC Guide to Incoterms® 2010 by Jan Ramberg. ICC Guide to Incoterms 2010 by the renowned international experts Professor Jan Ramberg contains a detailed analysis of each of the 11 terms of Incoterms with diagrams and illustrations for better understanding of the rules themselves. The Guide consists of three large blocks of questions including basic explanation of the Incoterms 2010 rules, an overview of the four categories of rules (E, F, C and D), as well as a thorough explanation of all of Incoterms' 11 terms. |
Incoterms® 2010 rules reflect modern trends in international trade since the release of the latest edition of Incoterms in 2000. These trends include safety in shipping, as well as increased use of electronic media in making commercial contracts. The Incoterms rules have been revised to provide more accurate and clear definitions of the terms associated with modern trade practices. Total number of terms has been reduced from 13 to 11. Incoterms 2010 has two new terms: DAT (Delivery at Terminal) and DAP (Delivery at Place). Furthermore, the new version includes a small guide to each term to help users of Incoterms ® 2010choose the appropriate term. In particular, the new edition focused on the safety of goods and granting a regulatory status of electronic documents. |
